As I stepped into the lush garden, I couldn't help but be whisked away into a world akin to my childhood fantasies. During my recent trip to Cromford, I had the opportunity to stay at Robins Nest Villa. This hotel provided me with exactly what I needed for a comfortable transit stay. One of the best features of this accommodation is its proximity to the nearest airport, which was just 49 km away. This made it incredibly convenient for me to catch my early morning flight without any hassle. The swift and easy access to the airport definitely made my travel experience a lot smoother.
While my stay at Robins Nest Villa was generally pleasant, if I had to point out one minor downside, it would be the lack of a gym facility. As a frequent traveler, I greatly value having access to fitness amenities, even during short stays.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The cottage was super comfortable and had everything we needed for an amazing self-catered stay. The host was incredibly friendly and even left us fresh milk, tea, coffee, and sugar - talk about a jaw-dropping welcome! The cosy bedroom with the four poster bed had the most stunning views from the window, and the bathroom was bright and airy. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby Cromford and going on scenic walks. We were also thrilled to find free parking available and that pets were allowed. The only downside was the weather, as we would have loved to enjoy the delightful courtyard with its table and chairs. Nonetheless, this place was absolutely fantastic, and we can't wait to come back!

Plus, having a fully equipped kitchen made cooking easy, and the fresh milk and tea provided were a nice touch. the location was perfect for exploring the local area and going for scenic walks.
The shower draining issue was a bit annoying, but nothing too major. And unfortunately, the windy weather made the bathroom vent quite noisy at night, which affected our sleep.
